Our December 2019 photo project (outbackhorizon, read more here) had literally gone up in smoke. Our original idea was to drive from Perth to Adelaide via the inland (outback) route. Due to the extreme heat and the forest fires we were forced to take the coastal route from Perth to Adelaide (which was not completely new, as we had already done a part of this route in 2013). Nevertheless, we still enjoyed the summer at the ocean and we have some great photos and memories of an unforgettable endless car journey. From Sunday November 1 to Monday November 30 I posted the best 60 aerial photos of the road trip on instagram, follow along on www.instagram.com/outbackhorizon. There are still a few ideas in my mind to do some other adventure roadtrips down under!
